Endoscopic Sinus Surgery? Can a pregnant woman get this done?
A little background: I’ve had this sinus infection since the end of October/beginning of November last year. I thought it would go away on its own, because most sinus infections I know are caused by a virus, which antibiotics won’t help. Well, when it didn’t go away at the beginning of January, I went to the ER with the worst headache of all time. They did a CT scan of my head and found all of my sinuses were completely clogged. They put me on antibiotic. I took it, and it still didn’t go away. I went to another hospital and got another round of antibiotic. I took it, and it seemed to go away for the most part, but now it’s come back with a vengeance. I can’t handle this anymore. The bad thing is, I’m 17 weeks pregnant, so there isn’t many antibiotics out there I can have. Is Endoscopic Sinus Surgery out of the question for me since I’m pregnant?

I also asked this question in the Other-Diseases category, I am asking this question in both to try to get more answers.

Why would my short sale negotiator give credit for closing costs and PMI?
My short sale negotiator is willing to give me credit to pay off closing costs and PMI which he states on contract. Why would he do that?
The credit is on top of what the bank is paying for closing which is only 3% "he says"

The bank figures out the amount of the sales figure that they will approve for the short sale based on how much money they will get from the proceeds (which also determines how much they will write off as a loss). They also factor in things like paying your closing costs and real estate agent fees in the total money they will lose.

If you obviously have a hardship that keeps you from continuing to own the property, they’re not going to bury you completely by making you pay all those fees that you probably can’t afford, anyway. The only time they wouldn’t is if you have other assets that you could liquidate and contribute to escrow.

That happened when I bought a short sale a couple years ago. As a condition of approving the short sale, the bank made the seller kick in $10,000 into escrow prior to closing. But, I once sold a short sale and just walked away from it with no money out of my pocket.
